Elegant Italian design. Terrazzo flooring was born when Venetian craftsmen reused construction remnants to create a flooring that is practical, eco-friendly, and stunning. However, the terrazzo at the Village Inn in Vandenberg Village was a decade old and in poor condition, with much of it in serious need of repair. When a new restaurant was scheduled to open on the site, Green Polishing Solutions set about to replace the terrazzo’s problem areas, challenged by the need to match the old with the new. We designed and developed concrete mixes so unique our firm’s innovation expert patented them. We also made sure to accentuate the natural sparkle in the greens and blues of the glass shards and stones
